Merry (belated) Christmas!

My family didn't exchange gifts this year, which made the whole affair much less stressful, but also less gift-y. Oh well! Grandma insisted on presents, so I got money and a sweatervest from her. LOL sweatervest. It's awesomely nerdy. Mom/Santa is taking Annie, Sarah, Grandma, Johnny?, and me to Spamalot next Sunday, so I'm pretty excited about that. :D She bought a ticket for David, but David doesn't want to go, so we have an extra ticket. xlafillemortex, I thought you might want to go, so you get first dibs if you want it~! If not, the offer stands for anyone else who's local and wants to see it.

Ali and Aunt Suzie came and went. Suzie got us all Barnes and Noble giftcards, which I had no idea about until after they had already left. :( Oh, she also brought Tamales, which are AWESOME. MMMM. One of the few good things about Texas is all the authentic Mexican food to which Suzie has access.

We had our big family Christmas party on Sunday at our house, which kind of took care of everybody to leave Christmas Day free for whatever we wanted to do (nothing!). I was at work for most of it, but it was a madhouse by the time I got there. Sarah predictably caused drama by losing her purse, which nobody could find in the two hours we looked for it. Turns out she left it at home. Go figure. OH SARAH<3

Didn't do much on Christmas. Johnny and I played Twilight Princess. It's hard not to play backseat gamer while he's playing and messing about. XD Mom decided she wanted Chinese take-out for Christmas dinner, so we trekked up to the Blue Gibbon in Elmwood Place, which was insane. But tasty. I hung out with Nick and Emy for a bit afterwards. We just chilled and talked for a bit.

Anyway, Happy Holidays!
