Tour [freak show] - New dates and refund procedures

Apr 05, 2011 06:09

As everyone probably knows by now, the [freak show] tour had to be abruptly cancelled due to the disaster on March 11. But they've just announced the rescheduled dates in June, so some pretty important info has come up. The changes are as follows:

3/19 → 6/4 Shinjuku BLAZE (CORE only)
3/26 → 6/9 Kashiwa Thumb Up
3/29 → 6/10 HEAVEN'S ROCK Kumagaya
3/31 → 6/14 Nagoya OZON
4/1 → 6/16 Okayama IMAGE
4/3 → 6/17 Osaka umeda AKASO
4/8 → 6/19 Akasaka BLITZ

As planned, the new single "Hameln" will be available for purchase at all venues starting from the CORE gig, limited to one copy per person.

Obviously there's no new date listed for Sendai, so if you have a ticket for that show hold on to it for now because they will most likely give a full refund if they can't reschedule it (who knows, they might just do it at a different venue...) Details soon to come hopefully.

If you have purchased a ticket for any show except Sendai, it's still valid for the new dates so you don't have to buy another one! Just use your ticket as you normally would. However be aware that the open/start times for the last two shows (Osaka and Tokyo) have changed, so check carefully and make sure you don't go at the wrong time!

If you cannot make it on the new dates, your ticket will be refunded but the procedure will differ according to where/how you purchased it. Most places will start processing refunds starting next week (4/11) up till the end of this month (4/30). Details are on this page, but I'll summarize briefly for those who don't understand much Japanese or are simply confused.

CORE preorder
If you got your ticket(s) through CORE先行予約, they have yet to come up with a refund procedure so you have to wait a little longer. As far as I know they only sent out the Sendai and Kashiwa tickets before the disaster hit; the tour was subsequently cancelled so the tickets for the other shows were not sent out. Since not everyone can make it for the new dates they'll probably let you choose to get a refund or have the tickets sent anyway.

MERRY ONLINE mobile site preorder
If you ordered a ticket through the mobile site and had it delivered to you, you will have to mail it back to them (address and required info is listed on the above mentioned page.) If you picked it up at a convenience store, you have to go back to that store to get it refunded between 4/11 to 4/30.

Lawson
If you got your ticket from Lawson, you can get it refunded at any Loppi machine between 4/11 to 4/30. Follow the steps here. You will need the 16-digit refund number that should be printed below the barcode on your ticket.

Pia, e+
If you bought through either of these ticketing agencies, you have to follow their steps according to your situation (depending on what delivery/payment methods etc. you chose your refund will be processed differently.) Pia guide is here, e+ is here.

Other sources
If you got your ticket through other means (shopping service, mail order, through a magazine, at a music store etc.) check if the refund page has any details first. Otherwise you'll probably have to contact your source directly for info.

Unless stated otherwise it seems like the deadline for most places is 4/30 -- after that they probably won't process any more requests so make sure to do it before the end of this month if you want your money back.

If you need help feel free to ask. Believe me, I know first hand how stressful all of this is -_____-;
