Issues, elections, and annoying Americans

The turnout for the Gay Straight Alliance on Wednesday was awesome, really inspiring. Now if we can only keep all our members, that would be ever better. Everyone keep coming! Next week we have to vote on who is going to be president/secretary/treasurer and lay out our mission statement and everything.

Speaking of voting, I need to get my interview questions in order because I'm writing a piece on the student rep elections coming up. Seems like people actually care about this one. Good. Apathy is idiotic.

And one last thing:

Dear Annoying Americans on the Internet,

If I have to hear one more time about how the rest of the world should all shut up about American foreign policy and be grateful that the US graciously condescended to join World War II and save the rest of us concurrently from the Evils Of Fascism (or possibly Socialism, people seem unclear on the details) and our own incompetence, you know, entirely as a favour, I really am going to club someone to death with a history book. A really big one.

Yours enragedly,
Merry

PS. Don't even get me started on World War One.
