im hanging up old posters again.
and letting the coffee cups pile up
sticking paint brushes in them when i run out of room
i keep organizing
and reorganizing
my desk and things
im just thinking about my days lately
i am constantly avoiding the work
i need to do
and any confrontational conversations
i don't want to think
and laughing is easy
but im still tired
from my new 'day-to-day's
i rely on music and thoughts
of you to get through the minutes
oh please stay on the phone
when the notes i get that start
at 4am
are the best part of my day
theres something missing at home.
