Sean: theres about 21 questions
Lee: shoot
Lee: the fact it keeps popping up
Lee: not what it says
Lee: thats a good one
Lee: lol
Lee: thats
Lee: awesome
Lee: i like that one
Sean: ok
Sean: lol
Lee: its perfect
Sean: get serious
Sean: be professional
Sean: *nudge*
Lee: I AM
Lee: GAWD
Sean: this is in no particular order
Lee: mhmm
Lee: GET ON WITH IT
Sean: dont be short with your answers
Sean: etc
Lee: GO GO GO
Sean: how long have you been playing?
Lee: lets see im 17 i started being interested when I was about 5 or 6 years old and just kinda here and there picked it up for about 12 years now
Lee: i wanna see this when its done
Sean: i gotta edit this definately
Sean: *sigh* more work
Lee: fine
Sean: hah
Sean: im kidding
Lee: ill type in punctuation
Sean: im keeping everything from the first question down
Lee: my god
Sean: who/what got you into playing guitar?
Lee: I'd have to say it was my brother, even though he doesn't play guitar when we were younger he'd always watch the music channel and me being little would too thinking it'd make me "cool". And I'd see all these rock stars with their flashy guitars and awesome playing, and it just kinda hit me that "Man I wanna do that!".
Sean: just to be cool :-) nice o kay next question do you consider yourself good or bad?
Lee: A few years ago I'd say I was really good, but lately with hectic schedule in life my playing as decreased in intensity and isn't bad but not as good as it use to be.
Lee: *has
Lee: not as
Lee: lol
Sean: yeah i know about that being your boyfriend at all *gloating* anyway how long did it take you to learn and was the hardest thing to learn?
Sean: ok im editing some things
Lee: Umm... I guess I didn't really start to pick up until I was older. Probably about 12 or 13 years old. The hardest thing besides remembering what strings to hold down was the fact of getting my fingers to reach cause my hands are so small.
Sean: do you have to read music to learn how to play?
Lee: You don't have to be able to read music to play because there are many great artists in the past that couldn't read music. But by all means it helps greatly.
Sean: which do you prefer acoustic or electric?
Lee: For me now it'd be electric because I have become fond of the harsh high pitches I can reach on it and I love to make the walls vibrate with my amp. But acoustic gives me that soft romantic feel sometimes that I enjoy.
Sean: What kind of guitar do you have?
Lee: haha
Lee: i was waiting for that
Lee: i have pictures if you want
Sean: sure email to me though
Sean: them *
Lee: yeah in a bit
Lee: okay
Lee: which guitar you want?
Lee: or both
Lee: acoustic and electric
Lee: or just one?
Sean: all
Lee: okay
Lee: this will take a few minutes
Lee: for me to think about
Lee: lol
Sean: no problem
Lee: My electric guitar is a Fender '62 Jaguar Reissue Turquoise. It's about a $1,999 guitar. It has a maple "C" shaped neck with a Nitro-Cellulose Lacquer Finish.
Lee: It has 22 vintage style frets and the fingerboard is 7.25'' radius made of Rosewood.
Lee: Has 2 special American Design Vintage pickups on the neck and bridge. The Bridge is a vintage style ''floating" Tremelo, all hardware is chrome. Gauges consist of .010, .013, .017, .026, .036 and .046. The pick guard is made of 3-ply Mint green and the scale length is 24''.
Lee: thats all for my electric
Lee: lmao
Sean: holy shit
Lee: what
Lee: i have two acoustics
Lee: but they are about half that together
Lee: lmao
Sean: go for it
Lee: I have two acoustic guitars, the first is an Ibanez Acoustic Electric Guitar Marine Blue. It's about a $700 guitar with flamed maple top, pearl block Abalone Inlay, gold hardware, arched maple back, maple sides, balanced XLR and 1/4" outputs with a marine sunburst high gloss finish.
Lee: The second acoustic is a Seagull Acoustic Guitar Cedar Top which is about $500 dollars. It has a solid cedar top, the back and sides are Wild cherry, the neck is Silver leaf maple, the fingerboard and bridge are Rosewood and it has a compensated saddle with a semi-gloss lacquer finish.
Sean: is that it? haha
Lee: yes
Lee: lol
Lee: and i just emailed the pics
Lee: You wanted to interview me
Lee: remember that
Lee: lol
Sean: yes :-)
Sean: ok next question
Lee: yes
Lee: lol
Sean: knowing you, have you had any accidents with guitars? if so what was the worse?
Lee: Hmm...accidents... umm... ive broken a guitar once, but I think the worst was when me and my friends were playing at a banquet thing and the E string sliced my hand open and I bled everywhere. Luckily it wasn't daylight so barely anyone notice the mass amout of blood everywhere.
Sean: oh well thats good that no one noticed psh
Lee: haha
Lee: it was gross
Lee: lol
Sean: do you have any tips for someone teaching themselves how to p lay?
Lee: Don't give up no matter how frustrated you get. And yes sometimes yelling at the wall helps.
Sean: ill remember that
Sean: who do you think is the best guitarist ever?
Lee: i got how to spell
Lee: it
Lee: now
Lee: lol
Lee: Besides myself, I'd have to say Yngwie Malmsteen. I love Far Beyond The Sun by him and he's just an all round great player.
Sean: haha alright
Sean: and ill assume that guy is in your favorite band?
Lee: my fav band
Lee: naw
Lee: lol
Lee: hes a one man thing
Lee: My favorite band is Rush mainly for their song 2112. Ive actually learned to play the electric part of that song, but its a 21 minute song and my fingers start to bleed after about 15 minutes.
Sean: that answers my callus question
Sean: haha
Lee: there ya go
Lee: lol
Sean: are you in a band?
Lee: <
