my weekend/Halloween
Halloween was fucking awesome this year. My Jersey buddy, Nicole came down to chill on Thursday and stayed for the weekend. I was so happy she came. She has been through a lot lately and it was so nice to see her having a good time. I surprised her with tickets for Carbon Leaf-a band she really likes. It's so weird that they are from Richmond VA and I had no idea about them but she knew about them and she's in Jersey. The show was really well done. It was a Halloween bash so there was loads of cool costumes-of course none as cool as the Batgirl-Wonder Woman duo. Since I wasn't too familiar with a lot of their hits, I liked that they did a good number of covers of songs I knew.
Saturday was a beauty. She and I went to Lake Anna state park and went for a hike and enjoyed a pic nic on the beach and I got to learn a bit about horses. It was so warm that we were able to tan a bit too. Saturday evening after dinner we watched Spice World which was a good choice because it had eye candy for both of us to enjoy. Sunday after breakfast,she went home and I got some laundry and grocery shopping done. My rents, Candy and I then went to my sister and brother-in-law's house for dinner. They had pork chops with stuffing in em and other great things with them. It was a fabulous meal. Today was back to work as usual.
