Bang the Drums All Day
This morning, Mom was in the Lively Room, playing with her KeyBored. I heard lots of strange noises. This is normal. Then I heard this awful banging. That got me worried. It sounded like a giant Bun was thumping that there was trouble! I ran under the Food Room Table. The noise kept thumping, sometimes soft, sometimes loud, sometimes at a higher free-quincy and sometimes lower. But it was very scary. So I thumped to warn Ringo, then kept thumping. Ringo didn’t seem bothered by the Big Scary Monster in the room next door. After a few minutes, Mom noticed that she was getting a bit of an echo from the noises she was making. She came into the Food Room and couldn’t find me. I hid really well, even tho I was still thumping. I can do this neat trick when I’m scared of thumping and making it sound like the thump is coming from a source on the other side of the room from where I am. Mom talked softly to me and eventually I came out from under the Table and hopped up on a chair. The chairs in the Food Room are padded, but I still managed a few very loud thumps before she calmed me down. I tried to warn everybun and my thumping must have scared off the Monster ‘cause I didn’t hear it again after that.
