Another lesson.
I missed a mandatory safety briefing for the Pride Parade. I was asked to be the Entry Leader Representative, where I would need to attend the meeting, sign a code of conduct form, and get our vehicle numbers for the parade.
I screwed up because I didn't enter the briefing on my phone's calendar. I emailed and left a voice mail for the director. I'm also going to visit the pride center after work and see if I can get this worked out. If not, I've not only disappointed myself, but if we can't get into the parade, I've disappointed a lot of people. A lot of people who have been making preparations for this parade walk.
I hope I can get this resolved. This is another lesson this week that I need to respond or at least update my calendar every time I receive and important email.
