Hippo Birdy to Me!
Today's my birthday! Not a whole lot planned, as usual. (By this time even I'm tried from all the holiday socializing that goes on from Christmast to New Years, even if if is my birthday.) My friend Kristen and I had tentative plans to go see a movie, but I didn't see anything playing that I want to see on the big screen. (Curious Case of Benjamin Button, 7 Pounds, and Doubt all look interesting, but all seem like they'd play just as well on a TV some weekend.) We're going to wait until "My Bloody Valentine 3-D" comes out and see that. But there are plans for Sushi and a game of munchkin.
I've been telling everyone that what I really want for Christmas is a closing date for my house! Yes, the same house I put an offer in on September and was supposed to close on in October. -_- It's been one crazy thing after another causing delay, delay, delay on the closing (and none of it my fault, amazingly enough.) Finally today I got a tentative closing date of January 8th. So I didn't get it for Christmas, but I did for my birthday! (Let's see if it sticks!)
