Drama Thoughts: Networks and Average Ratings
Not for the first time, I was curious about how my ratings for K-Dramas differ from network to network, and also how many dramas I've seen from each of them. I've glanced my list over before to see this, but never really written the results down, so I always forget. I've also never done it thoroughly, so I didn't know the exact details. Since my ratings tend to change over time, this information won't always be accurate, but here's the numbers as of right now.
Note: This only includes typical K-Dramas, that being of the 16-20 episode variety, with a few exceptions for those that ran to 24 or so episodes. Basically, no 100+ episode family dramas or 50+ episode historicals.

It's clear from this that SBS and tvN have the best shows for me, though SBS has plenty of bad dramas too. I've known for a while now that MBC is a danger network, so I always feel a little uneasy when an upcoming drama is on their network. I haven't seen many dramas from the smaller networks, like OCN and jTBC, but I know of shows with good ratings from them that I'll get to eventually. With that in mind, it would be interesting to do this again in, say, a year from now and see how the numbers change.
