So, it's Thursday...and I'm in Lynchburg. I'm dog-sitting for a little over a week for my brother while he and his wife are visit her family. It's pretty calm and quiet here. How can I change that? I'm in this huge house with two labs and nothing to do. Leslie is supposed to visit soon. I'll probably take the dogs to the river or the park

Also, glad to hear you and your family are doing well. I tried calling you a while back, but you know...
About me and my life, nah, you don't have to worry about me. Sorry it upsets you and all, but this is what I want from life right now. You have been living differently for the past year, as have I, and I like my life. I love life more every day. Hey, you got to experience some things in your life, right? I have experienced some wild stuff this past, stuff I wouldn't trade for the world. Great times making new friends, seeing new things, doing new things. It isn't me lashing out or wanting attention in the slightest, I wanted my life to be like this long before we dated. Who wouldn't want to be free to go out and meet new people and try new things? Living out my dreams, nothing wrong with that in the slightest.
I am still the same old guy, but I know it is hard for you guys to believe. Oh well, it isn't like we talk much, anyway, but I am sure you guys have changed quite a bit in the past year. I am dating this one girl right now and I am the same old sweet self to her.
Where are you living, now, anyway? Still in Portsmouth? I went to the Mark Knopfler (of the Dire Straits) concert down there a few months ago and was wondering where you lived. The area didn't seem all that bad, but I didn't go past the amphitheater. You always said it was bad, but I guess I didn't see the bad parts.
Thanks for the blessing with love, but I am not really worried about it. If it happens, it happens, hopefully not until I am ready for it to happen (35+). I get the love I need from friends and family, so the other love can wait. Yeah, Lindsay did some temporary damage, but everything happens for a reason and I learned so much from it. It made me tighter with Joe since we could talk about similar experiences. It all worked out for the best, really. In hindsight, I am glad I finally went through something like that.
Well, glad to hear you are doing well. Shoot me an email sometime!

I'm glad to hear that you're the same 'ol Jacob. That makes me happy. I'm living in Norfolk right now. Hopefully, I'll move to Hampton one of these days. I actually really like it in NC. What a great area. I wouldn't mind living down there.
Jacob, one of these days I WILL give you your Lain dvd's back. :) Promise.
