Don't know if anyone's still on here...
Question: Should I get a Garmin watch, and if so, which one?
Background: I've been using Nike+ with my iPod for the past two pairs of shoes, and generally I've been pleased with it, though the distances can be a bit wonky. But for my last race (half-marathon) something went wrong and while the data was collected it won't upload so essentially that run (and several after) were lost. So not only do I not get to see what my pace was like, but then I didn't make my goals.
I'm still going to listen to my iPod while I run, and I'm not up for a new pair of shoes yet, but should I get a Garmin just so I don't have to deal with that kind of nonsense? I'm also thinking about taking up cross-country skiing this winter.
As a side note, I like wearing watches, but I have small wrists.
