80's rewound...
Finally, after all that SEA Games and stuff had come and gone, medals won and lost, hopefully the sitcom episode that I had worked on will finally see the light of day...
Once again, for those who enjoy local sitcoms, or keen to learn more about Singapore and its lifestyle in the 80s, or just to support my once-in-a-blue-moon TV appearance (much appreciated!), do stay tuned to...

Incidentally, I discovered a pretty cool and useful application on Facebook that allowed Singaporeans to record their favourite local TV shows via the Internet!
It's called RecordTV, and it is totally free of charge (woohoo!!!). Only available to Singaporeans for now though...
Another slight catch is that the recorded shows are only available for 15 days, after which they will be deleted from their servers...
I set it to work immediately, and managed to record yesterday morning's rerun episode of "The Golden Girls" with it!
The quality is not bad, just nice for viewing on your computer. Only gripe is that it stopped recording JUST before the show ended... :-S
To get over this problem, and to save a lot of potential grief, I think it is better to record the NEXT show as well, if only to get the ending of the show you want...
