As summer recedes
i think of many things

the coming of the fall
accelerated by shorter days

spent in a mall
shopping for objects
that have no context

in a religious celebration
of solstice

my point is:
spring will breathe
the darkness out of me

my hibernating head
will be fresher then

to accomplish the things
i did not get to yet

then i can make
a new excuse this time
next year
