Burlesque cooking excitement

Okay, maybe it's just exciting for me. I picked up a copy of The Mike Douglas Cookbook because I knew it had a recipe from Gypsy Rose Lee. Well, it has *two* recipes from Gypsy Rose Lee (Linger Longer Omelet and Torrijas) and one from Ann Corio (Chicken Caccitore al Forno).

Of course, I've just added a cookbook to The Cookbook Project...

So, now I have five actual recipes from burlesque Legends (3 from Gypsy, Ann Corio, and Lili St. Cyr) and two that I made up ( Pork Strips a la Rose La Rose and Chicken a la Earl). I'm going to keep hunting for more actual ones (although I'm not sure they exist...) and looking for inspirations to make up more (surely Georgia Sothern needs a pecan pie in her honor...)

ETA: Three that I made up. I forgot about Zorita's Knish because it didn't publish it anywhere. Must remedy this by making them again.
