Tonight I both get to see my sister *and* have dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. It's been more than a year in both cases.

I'll be in Charleston, SC in May for Costume-Con. Now that I've actually bought my plane tickets and I *have* to go, I'm excited. The Friday night social is a speakeasy. I've got to figure out how to do some Jazz Age hair & make-up. And figure out what I'm bringing for the rest of the weekend. I've got lots of nifty costumes, but it really should be stuff I made myself.
I'm bound & determined to sample some of the local sites & fare. My biggest regret about going to CC in Baltimore was never leaving the hotel. I went to Baltimore and didn't have any crab! What was I thinking?

I saw Penn Jillette speak on CNN about the new Indiana law. I thought it was interesting that he described himself as a libertarian and atheist and the caption on the screen was "Host, 'Penn's Sunday School' Podcast", but everywhere else (included CNN's website) he's being called a "comedian".

Albert continues the reign of adorableness. Yesterday he engaged new_man in a game of catch. Well, after the Man figured out what Albert wanted him to do. Sometime we humans are so dumb.
