Embroidery

My Plimoth panel has been sadly languishing. I'm really looking forward to the event on Saturday because I'm just planning on sitting and embroidering. It had looked like I was going to have an aerial lesson in VT in the morning and then I'd come racing in for the feast. But the lesson is later in the month. Now I can just go to the event, relax and stitch. I hope I can find a quiet corner.

I'm still working on trefoil #2 (of 5). The 4-color leaf has been outlined and needs fill and the second little leaf needs to be worked entire. After that I'm going for the strawberries (GST). One berry is done and the second started. Then I can embroider the leaves (just silk -- that's virtuous) and the flower (GST).

It look me a little while to remember *how* to stitch the flower, since I didn't do one on the jacket. Fortunately, there's a picture of one in progress on the blog, which jibes with my memory.

If I can get those elements done (2 trefoil leaves, 1 strawberry, 2 strawberry caps, 1 strawberry flower), I'll be quite pleased and call it a productive day. Heck, I'll just be happy if I finish the trefoil.
