Embroidery progress

As I posted earlier, last night I accomplished a number of the thing I needed to do, so I let myself do something I wanted to do -- work on my Plimoth-inspired embroidery. I'm still slogging away on the trefoils. I finished one and started a second. They really are a remarkable pain. Originally I wanted to get all the trefoils done before I moved on to anything else on the panel. And I wanted to get all the all-silk work done before I moved on to the GST. I'm revising that plan because it's too tedious.

When I finish the second trefoil, I think I'll do the other strawberry (in Carnation GST), as a palate cleanser and reward. Then I can do the strawberry leaves and be virtuous, since they're plain silk. And it will be nice to have a little cluster of doneness. Another trefoil and maybe something else fun, like the honeysuckle buds (can't actually do the flowers because I haven't ordered my Isabella GST). When I've finished all 5 trefoils, I'll do something splashy. Maybe a borage.

Dreaded trefoil in the lower right. The partially completed one is not in the picture.
