quick update
So it's 2010 now and I figured that I should write something to keep my livejournal somewhat up to date. NYE was spent at home with Brenton, my bro and his gf, and my mom. Brenton and I ended up being the only ones who drank champagne. Six glasses of champagne later, I'm starting to get a headache and regret forcing myself to finish the bottle.
Brenton and I spent our first Valentine's Day together. It was a nice day and I still read the card he gave me because it makes me feel so special. For Brenton's birthday we went to Medieval Times and Disneyland. It was such a fun weekend and it's nice to get away for a little, just the two of us.
Katie and Ian are engaged now too. It's so exciting that my friends are all getting married soon, but it always reminds me of how much weight I need to lose! lol
It's now March and I started my Master's in Public Health program at National University. I love that it's only a 16 month program with the last month or so being an internship, and you only have one class a month! Hopefully, I can find a great paying job afterwards so I can move out and start living life on my own.....AND save money!!!
Oh, I almost forgot, I'm also volunteering as a clinical assistant at Planned Parenthood in El Cajon. Everyone is really nice and helpful, and I'm learning so much. If all goes well, perhaps one day they'll want to hire me as an RHA, a reproductive health advisor.
I miss my friends that I don't see too often, especially Eric, Cerissa, Geselle and Jasmin!!!!
