I got a letter today offering me Phi Beta Kappa membership. It feels good! Yeah, it's a silly honor society thing, but it's the most well-known one and they're very selective. I think it'll be a real help in terms of getting jobs! It also helps me relax further about grades. A very high GPA with Phi Beta Kappa recognition will basically be as good as an actual 4.0, so even though that will be my goal, it's a less important one.
I'm proud of myself. People sometimes get snipey about it, which is why I rarely discuss how well I'm doing, but it feels good to get some third-party validation. Yay!
