1) I got a job and im thrilled like Thriller
1, cont'd) it's about 20 minutes away as opposed to being close to home, but my parents claimed they would've taken me back and forth if I'd gotten a job at another place thats 20 minutes in the *opposite* direction, so.
2) remember we got an artificial tree last year? Well that means I can put it up any time after Halloween. This is the first time in about 5 years that we've had a fake tree. That used to be my Thing when I was in elementary school; I was a latchkey kid so I'd come home from school one random day in November and haul our tree and decorations up from the basement and put them up and surprise mom when she came home from work.
3)I've gotten a bunch of fall foods; pumpkin flavored Pop Tarts, donuts, hot apple cider (with carmel in the bottom), mom got pumpkin cheesecake at the bakery yesterday.
4) right now the temperature is back to ridiculous but for a few days last week the weather was seasonally appropriate. So I got to wear my boots and my oversize sweater, and I've got this shirt on right now that's the color of butternut squash.
