One of my favoirite places to go is the David Welch Winter Gardens back home in Aberdeen. It's the largest glasshouse botanical garden in Europe, and it's about 15 minutes walk from our house. It's in the middle of a big park, so it's somewhere I was taken a lot when I was little. In fact, in one outing at nursery I managed to fall in to the duck pond..... then into the terrapin pond about an hour later. There are many who will not let me forget this.
Nowadays there are less terrapins, but since I can now be trusted to (usually) not fall in to bodies of water I am safe to take my digital camera with me. I like going at different times of the year and playing with the macro function :3
