so much to do, so little time to slack off doing it
waaah, April already? For working with some rather crazy people, I encountered absolutely no April Fools this year. This is obviously because I remembered what day it was and was prepared.
Mr Director Boss man announced today that after the Easter Holiday we will officially be in crunch time! Huzzah =D As far as I can tell all this means is that taking holidays is Verboden until July. That's like 3 months D: However he did also say that the studio will close for 2 weeks in July, forcing everyone to take a fortnight holiday. This sounds awesome in theory, but in practice is more likely a ploy to get us all to use up our holidays before WE'RE ALL FIRED DUN DUN DUUUUUN. Also slightly confusing for me as my current contract is up at the start of May... Will I get another one? Who knows, who cares xD certainly not me
So what've I been up to? I played through to the end of The World Ends With You recently, I really have far too much love for that game, it's such a silly concept xD Especially as with the correct stats you can make the guys crossdress, so all through the rather epic ending cutscenes I was painfully aware that the main chracter had a pretty white dress on, coupled with a studded black leather biker cap. Also the other guy was wearing a pink gypsy skirt. Much lulz were had >3
New game plus mode in that has been switched out for the new Crystal Chronicles game, which me mammy bought me because I am too skint to buy the vidya <33 It plays exactly like the first DS CC game, which I loved to bits, so I'm enjoying it greatly. Although it feels like the ai for your party members is dumber? as funny as it is to watch your allies hurl themselves off the same cliff repeatedly, I then need to waste MP healing them. As such my party consists of Bradley the Emo Clavat, Teyin the Liltie Who Always Gets Lost, Neri the Selkie that Shouts in a Boy Voice, and the star of the show, Trevor the Stupidly Overpowered Yuke. And they have many merry adventures together on the commute to and from work =D
In the evenings I have mostly been putting off painting, with an attempt to set myself a deadline for saturday morning to finish the damn thing. Almost halfway, so I'll need to actually make some progress on it tonight :O
Also lolwtf I passed 1000 pageviews on DA after... what, 4 years on the site. lol the wonders that posting pokemans does for your popularity. Speaking of which I was thinking of making a seperate DA for the pokmonathon for gen2 onwards, dnno what to call it though. Any suggestions? :p
Got a work meal/night out tomorrow too, as a sort of commemoration of the people who have quit/been fired/left in the last month. We're going to an indian restaraunt. The Italians are not impressed with this choice xDD mmmmmm curry
Ooh also I might finally manage it! There is a pokemon download event in a place where I can concievably be! 10 years I've been trying to get to one of the damn things to no avail. But not this time. Ohhhh no, Shaymin shall be MINE.
Right it's almost half 8. I have like 2 and a half hours before I need to sleep. Need to do the dishes, make and eat food, and paint. Off I go I guess :)
