~London Calling~
Well, where do I even start?

So much has happened over the last few days- what with being in London and all, everything suddenly seems interesting- but at the same time I am very lazy with the updating and I don't know how bothered I can be with the full play-by-play... So...
Tubes are fantastic- if ridiculously stressful as soon as you have a set time you need to get somewhere. We were spending the monday through wednesday at this exhibition, manning the booth with our game on it. It was freezing. And very deserted. I think we spent the whole of the first day huddled in a corner behind our PCs playing DS (apart from me, my battery died T_T). This didn't really pick up too much for the next few days, but we did get to sneak out to the London Games Careers Exhibition that was happening at the same time round the corner, and I blagged a few good freebies. My favourite is the Viva Pinata mousemat I got from the Rare booth =D
Shock Time! I wore a dress!!!!!!!
So... the video game BAFTAS... Never thought I'd be there @_@ Seriously. The whole thing was so bizarre. It's one of those things you know people go to, but it's never something that you expect to go to yourself- especially with a fecking nomination.
Or...to win an award... '_'
That still makes no sense to me lol, I was so certain we hadn't a chance! As such, the most awesome thing that happened all night was this:
Seriously- he is such a decent guy! I did not think Andy Serkis would actually agree to a photo! So much win =D
There was food too, which I bullied asked Pete to take photos of since my camera was too big to take with me <3
First, a veggie-tastic starter! Asparagus on a mushroom risotto. Now, I HATE cooked veg, but I did finish it all so it can't have been too bad xD
Then, chicken stuffed with parma ham, mozzerella and tomatoes, with gravy-type stuff, sweet potato and salad. the gravy was so awesome!
Strawberry pannacotta finished off things (which we forgot to take photos of before starting to eat! D8), It had a biscuit thing and a couple of slices of strawberry with it too, but they were already devoured >_>
That's almost all the photos I have to show, I know there are some awesome ones out there, just I don't have copies yet. If I get hold of the picture of Vic Reeves playing our game I'll put it up. For now you can have a pic of me playing our game instead =p
My mum and aunt are coming up tomorrow, I have no idea how to keep them entertained for the day @_@ Also I'm gonna probably have to skip the F-Zero tournament tomorrow. My hands are so cold, I can't wait for the plumber to come and fix the boiler tomorrow!
Halloween's in less than a week... I haven't done anything for it yet T_T
