More strange political stuff related to Palin

First of all, this is a not a smear of Palin. Rather this has to do with the reasons that McCain might have chosen her as a running mate. I thought about it for awhile, concluding that he was looking for someone in the Republican party who was middle class, successful within the party and in major elections, and looked cute on his arm. The only person he could find was Sarah Palin. In reality, I suspect that the first two items would have filtered his list to about 4 people.

However, the following video shows some very disturbing footage, albeit edited a bit, detailing some worrisome body language on McCain's part. Some comments need to preface this YouTube video. After returning to the US in a prisoner exchange with Hanoi, McCain returned to his first wife, a woman who stood by and waited for his return. In 1969, while waiting for his return, she was injured in a car accident that left her terribly disfigured and 5 inches shorter. McCain was so appalled at her appearance, that he divorced her for beer heiress, Cindy Hensley, whom he met while exploring his options as a Republican running for office about that same time. The London Daily Mail commented, "Appalled by his wife's appearance? Well, thank goodness John McCain doesn't behave like that any more." So, with that said, here is the video link. Note Cindy McCain's body language around Palin, but pay close attention to the clips of McCain's body language and how uncomfortable Palin becomes after her speech.

That video would be enough, particularly playing with his wedding ring over and over. But, then, a recent smear ad came out on the Internet accusing Barack Obama of womanizing. When NPR took McCain to task for that and other smear ads, this was his response. I just couldn't remain silent after I came across these videos while researching McCain and Obama facts on Factcheck.org and Wikipedia.
