Framing fanart

I am framing fanart. And can I tell you how tricky it is to frame oil pastels? I bought this varnish to coat them with but I am too scared to use it in case it effs up the colours, sooo I need to make sure the glass doesn't touch the drawing and that is haard.

It must be like framing butterfly wings! Drawing right to the edges of the paper must have made several of these really tricky to handle.

Getting things framed professionally is ridiculously expensive and it looks like you're doing an excellent job. They look beautiful.

Yeah...it is ridiculously expensive to have things framed...I have to do it myself and it's very unprofessional-looking. *sighs*. And, yeah, I have drawn to the edge most of the time, because I am a numptie. Hindsight is a marvellous thing. In future I will buy the frames first and then do the drawings to fit.
Thank you for being so kind ♡

They all look amazing. I remember mounting pictures on A1 paper for a wedding and that was bad enough in terms of cut fingers and numb digits. You are doing a fabulous job

I do like the pics having a bit of board around them. They look better, more pro. The ones that fill the whole frame look so plain. Buying bigger frames is expensive, however. Then again it's nice to actually see the pieces again (stuck in stacks and folders usually). Thank you for your enabling words ♡♡

These look exquisite - and I agree that the edge around them makes a big difference. Your exhibition will be amazing - wish I could see it in real life!

oh and I particularly love your iconic s1 e1 picture of Merlin arriving in Camelot for the first time - next time we meet up you'll have to come up here to visit and I'll take you to Ivinghoe Beacon where that was filmed! Together with the famously kicking off cheekbones.
