Surely. Use HTML. You'll have to check to make sure you don't have RTF up instead of HTML when you create a post.

If you're using a client like Semagic et all, I'm afraid I can't help you.

But the html is this:

< a href="http://kirstielovely.livejournal.com/979.html" >[text goes here, like title to story]< /a >

so basically it's < a href="[URL]" >[text]< /a >. Remove the spaces between the < and >.
