Summary : 'It's my Destiny' is focused on both Merlin and Arthur's will to sacrifice their lives for others, it is focused on their journey since s1 and shows how much closer they've grown through the years. // 'Into the Dark' is from Arthur's point of view mostly, As Arthur watches Merlin leave with Lancelot he remembers their time together and what Merlin said to him in 1x13.
A/N : Now that Merlin is back and so are our boys, I just felt like making new videos, the first one is quite simple in the editing style while the second is more based on emotions.
It's my Destiny :
This is something quite simple and yet I hope you'll feel the epicness I tried to convey (that score works quite well with Merlin).
Of course, it is focused on Merlin and Arthur and their will to sacrifice their lives; Arthur for his people and Camelot and Merlin for Arthur.
This is focused on their Destiny but not only, I also tried to show how along with Destiny, these two people who met 5 years ago, have become close, they not only care but are also scared to lose each other at some point. I really hope we get to see that from Arthur in the next episode.

What can I say?.... The new preview for 4x02 killed me... I've cried so hard watching it, I still tear up just thinking about it. The thing is that the first time I saw the promo pictures, I lost it. I literally started crying when I saw that one with Arthur and Merlin on the horse, looking so lifeless and Arthur's gaze depraved from all the light in his eyes... It broke my heart just to see the pictures so you can imagine that when they released the preview, I cried even harder... I've always wanted to vid this music for them, one day i'll do it with lyrics because I just love the song so much and never fails to make me cry but for this I needed just the music.
This is mostly Arthur's point of view.
Remember when Merlin told Arthur that he was happy to be his servant until the day he died? Well, in my personal headcanon, Arthur is remembering this as he watches Merlin leave with Lancelot. And you can see on his face that he is not ready to let Merlin go because he did not even ever think that he would see the day when Merlin wouldn't be by his side. He's always been there, even when others couldn't, Merlin was there, a constant presence by his side and Arthur realizes that he needs him. I think he always knew that but there he admits it to himself.
I also brought back an extract from the novel 'Poisoned Chalice' because it just seems to fit here again :
'His failure would cost Merlin his life. [...] Arthur swore and despaired. And begged Merlin for his forgiveness'
If you focus on Arthur while Merlin is running towards the Daroka, you can see how he tries desperately to reach for Merlin's leg, tries to pull him back, if we had a clearer image we would probably see the despair on his face too, you can hear him 'Merlin, no!' and it's just heartbreaking....
See, we're not even at episode 2 and they're already killing me....
I also wanted to show another thing, Merlin in 2x01 says that Arthur only thinks he's an idiot. I can't express how happy it made me to have Arthur tell Merlin he's brave. I've been waiting for it to happen since Arthur started to see Merlin as more, as wise. Brave was the next thing I wanted him to say and he did and I just lost it again...
