Summary: There's a blackness swelling in Arthur, and at high tide the dark suffocates the prince's heart until that he can barely leave his chambers. Gaius believes it to be a disease of the mind, but something in Merlin tells him it may be more than a mental affliction.
Notes: Interludes are from 4.48 Psychosis, a play about depression by Sarah Kane. Written mostly because I like projecting my issues onto characters, wahey ~
