Update

So in my last entry I promised that details would follow, so here they are. Thursday was the most wonderful day of my life. Some background. My boyfriend (now fiance) and I are both Firefighter/emts. We are both active members of Berwyn fire company and Gfac. He is a member at Radnor and I have become friends with some people there. So, at about 1pm on October 5th two paid staff members from Berwyn and one member from Radnor came into my office asking me if I had called in a suspected fire. Now mind you they are dressed in full turnout gear, as if they are actually responding to a possible building firre. I told them no and they pulled out a sheet, that we get at the time of dispatch, showing my name and phone number. At this point I am freaking out. They tell me I have to come out with them and figure everything out. Now I am thinking that maybe the fire chief is out there and that I am going to get in trouble for what was happening even though I didn't do anything. They walk me outside. There's a firetruck and an ambulance from both Radnor and Berwyn. So two fire-trucks and two ambulances are sitting outside my office. And there's vinnie, dressed as he would when driving the fire truck. I am so confused at this point. He pulls out another sheet, saying that it was the updated version. Talk about updated! On the bottom in big letters is "Will you marry me". As I read this he dropped down to one knee, saying "Brandy I have a fire in my heart for you that I can't put out. Will you marry me?". He pulled out the ring and I stood there shocked. Then hugged him for a minute or two. Then said yes. Apparently at some point people started cheering. Don't quite remember that, I think I was only a little bit distracted. It was absolutly amazing. It was great because friends and people we both worked with got to witness it and it is definantly memorable. We are both still kind of flying high about this. And before you ask...no date has been set yet. This was a total surprise for me. We had talked about it briefly but not in depth. Needless to say this is a story to tell the kids, when we have them :-D. With that said I would like to thank Berwyn and Radnor for making it happen and thank everyone who knew for keeping it a surprise. Apparently there were people who have known for a month that this was coming up in the near future. Well I think I am going to go stare at my ring for a little bit longer. If anyone needs to get in touch with me for whatever reason call my cell...I am in NY for the weekend...will be back tomorrow sometime
