[She knows that calling out doesn't help - not when people are making noise - and she already wasted an ink well attempting to get Elyan's attention. She'd been waiting for this. She had two options. Lottie was grateful that the maidservants listened to " ... I'm perfectly all right with bringing my own tray to the kitchen don't trouble yourselves." at least once in a while. 1.Trying to catch her dinner knife against the light in the room or 2. throwing something at him. On a spoon was rolled up quill feather pieces drenched in ink. Lottie's best bed was jumping on the spoon when Gwaine was in the right position - which was harder to tell with him so high up - if she lucked out she would hit him.
She moved toward the dinner knife and with some effort, and a lot of determination, lifted it up against her shoulder, in position with the mirror and the candle and waited for Gwaine to step in the right direction. [Her form relaxed slightly but she had to refocus quickly enough to removing the knife off her shoulder before she ended up breaking it or cutting off her hand. She pushes it back, and slowly lets it fall with a sound thud - ... at least to her. She smiles at him as he approaches, a smile that turns slightly amused as she just resists rolling her eyes but still shakes her head.
Lucky for him there is still a loaf of bread and some choice pieces of meat. All thanks to Lottie wanting to finish whatever report needed and then, of course, being shrunk] You may eat if you wish. [not that Gwaine really needs her permission but surely even he wouldn't steal a shrunken woman's food right? Right.] I have no appetite [her smile twitches] at the moment.
