I'm gonna be lazy on this one!

I'm just gonna copy and paste what's been said already.

Time to make it finalized. This is it, I'm gone. But this is not the end I hope.

Due to some real shitty happenings in my life, I am unable to resume playing FFXI. No Money, No Job, No Life. That's the story of me. After 6+ months of looking for work, I've finally exhausted all of my resources, and now to the point of being near homeless. At this point, I only have one option left.

The Military

Thursday night I talked to a recruiter and got a load of information on the Army. Though this was never on my list of possibilities, it's really the only one I have left open. After taking the Pre-ASVAB test and scoring high (even after having to rack my brain for math equations I haven't used in years), and answering a few personal questions, the officer set me up for an ASVAB test Monday evening. 4 days after this test, the officer will have my scores, and the next week he'll take me to Spokane, WA to the recruiting center there, where I'll choose my career.

Looking at this information, there is a world of possibilities, and I don't know where to start. The only part I'm not looking forward to is boot camp (I'm not fat, but not the most athletic guy) for 2 months. On the other side, I think I'll learn alot from the upcoming experience. I can look at myself, and see that I lack alot of things. One of these things is Motivation. But then there it is, I lack the motivation to help make myself better. Will I be able to fix this with the Army's help. I'll find out soon enough.

Therefore, I can say this will be one of the last times I'll be able to keep in contact with my LS, my Friends, and mostly, my FAMILY. You are all under a great leader who will do anything to help his family, and I know you will all go far. Don't get greedy. You may not get that cool, uber elite item right away, but you'll get there.

To My Family:
I have had many a great memory through my experience with you. Though most of my memories are personal, there are some
'mementos' on my character. My Yinyang Robe, and my Aquilo's Staff being the big things. Not to mention my most recent gift of Austere Cuffs.

Though it may be sad to say do to the fact this is a game, I've never let myself get as attached to anyone as much as I did this LS.

Rapture, Wintieu, and Malithar - I don't open myself up to people, and the fact you were there, willing to listen to my problems, and provide me with possible solutions touched me very deeply.

With all this being said, my character will NOT be sold, or lost, or deleted. I have given my account info to 2 people in the LS, and once I get the money, I plan to reactivate my account for the use of the LS. So look forward to seeing my happy little face running around, but a different person using it. I will contact these people when the time comes. Though it may not be me, if I can be of any benefit to the LS, then let it be. SMN's are undeniably strong at end game. I will add later a macro set up I use for general purpose.

And thus, I bid you farewell. I thank you for the great memories. Be Strong as a Family.

An Update:

Monday evening I took the ASVAB test. I got a score of 81. Apparently this is pretty good, and to get in the Army you only need 30. So what does this mean?

Honestly, I thought I did crappy on the test. I had to think of equations of stuff I haven't done for years.

While I completely feared the thought of having to join the military, I'm coming around to almost thinking this is a great opportunity. Although I won't see you guys often, it'll still set me on the right path to a career, and be financially stable.

With as high of a score I got, it means I have choices. It means I can actually get a career and not just do grunt work. The recruiting officer specifically said one job that sounded fun. "Computer Administrator". While I don't exactly know what that entails, it sounds better than being someones lap dog.

I specifically told the officer that what ever gets promised to me, I will have it in writing before signing any contracts with them.

Friday I'll have the official results, and then off to Spokane I go to sign up. While my nerves are still on end, I'm beginning to look forward to this.

I'll try to keep you guys updated as much as possible.

Yup, that's it in a nutshell. Been really to busy to write anything of useful information.
