Oh the gorgeous McShep - they are so adorable when they are in best buddies mode... really reminded me of all the way back to S1 and Hide and Seek. *happy sigh* Of course the end race in my head had Heightmeyer cheering Sheppard on, and McKay complaining that he was losing because Cadman wasn't there to cheer him on... not that he was left under any illusion from an email response from said partner later that she would have been driving and he would have been with the pom poms. :D
And of course at a completely shallow level... JF and CT in a fight sequence. *another happy sigh*. And have I heard the rumours right that there is a whole eppie soon with them together again for most of it?
So that's where Amelia comes from in the Dex prompts for the ficathon!
Did feel sorry for CT that there was little chance to emote and had to remain in 2D bad guy mode for a lot of it.
The downside of enjoying an episode was it brought home that the show is coming to an end, and all the possibilities I would have loved to seen aren't going to happen. Back to fanon I go, I suppose. :)
