what a night glamour and glow
So I went to the world beat center today at noon and no one was there, I waited around for abou 30 minutes still no one showed, so I went to work, I worked all day, but a friend showd up and basically old the roses for me so I brought him along to the show and got him in for free.
So i made 100 today at work while i basically fucked off with friends all day, and then went and spent 66 of it on more supplies for the show, and came home and got ready for the show.
Then me and jaty drove over to the show unloaded my car then I parked, and then I went inside, turns out, all the other artists have taken all of the spaces, but there is a tinny spot by the bar.
I was so pissed, because I showed up when i was soposed to to set up and no one was there, and all i had was this littl spot, that just so happend to be next to the bar.
well I said fuck it and set up, and did what I could with what I had, got compliments all night was interviewsd by ninja monkey or video ninja something like that I recognized them, got videoed by a few people, then jay wanted me to paint on him.
the drinks have been flowing all night for fre, rock star status baby.
so I painted jay, and trhen two more people walked up and wanted to be painted, they tipped me and bought me a drink. rock the fuck on.
so I ma hangng out then a girl takes off her shirt and has me paint her back,.
another tip,
'then a guy walks up and buys a painting for 40 bucks.
then he comes back buys two more, and gets me a drink, i sold him the small ones cheep, just cause he bough the big one at full price, then i let another painting go cheep just cause the guy was emotional about it and all he had was nine dollars, but I didnt care.
then I painted on a couple more dudes, then a couple of girls,
then I met a girl sabrina was her name, she let me paint all over her, and she was totaly into it, then she came back and ainted on me, i gave her my number, cause there was some chemestry there.
the promoter of the show came up to me after all of thi and told me that I was doing a great job and that out of all the artists I was getting the most attention and opeople where talking about me the most.

And there was some killer rt there, but I had people going the most fuck yeah da,mn skippy mo fos.
so yeah so this woman wants me to paint at her party on the 2bnd of october,
and I think I am going to do the vegas event because I just have a feeling I should go forward with this and I think i shoul work with these people some more, i think I could learn a few things from this exprijnce.
wow it was such a wondr full night over all, I got so fucked up, had so many free drinks.
I danced a bit, smoed with th hairdresser next to me, hairdressers are fuxcking hillarious, LOL
I am trashed as I am writting this but fuck it, I gott get it out while it is fresh right. :)
so yeah after all of the fun, I was complemtented much, a plentora of interesting random people had me paint on them through out the night, I was widely talked about people constently introduced themselves to me, and I felt like a super star...
It was truely amazing.
I really needed a day like this after the week that i have had.. :)
And i was worried that I wouldnt do well with the tiny spot I was given, I think I am the only artist that sold anything...
I gave out a lot of cards, was interviewsed and videoed and had a lot of fun on top of it...
I only sold 4 paintings and all but two of them where small paintings, and I walked in the building with less than 20 dollars, spent 10 on drinks, and walked out with 100 dollars and most of my art and paints intact. woohooooooooo. :)
It was a great night. :)
