The Eye of the Phoenix - in Bradley's footsteps again.

Mr P and I have visited the perilous lands and survived !!!!!

Day one
Our first visit to the Trefil Quarry was in mist which meant we couldn't see very much. Entering the quarry was awesome. We drove on for about a mile and saw nothing that remotely looked like the Merlin location. On our way back we went up to the working quarry aptly named Gryphonn ( Read more... )

You are so brave! I thought about going there but didn't realize that they'd let people in. I'll have to give it a try next time I'm there.

Did you know that your fuller report is locked?

I also friended you. :D I love that you go to all these locations and give us directions!

Thank you for your comment.

Yes, please do try to visit it next time it's great fun. I would always meet up with you and show you. The actual location is not in a working quarry so that was good we could wander anywhere.

Thank you for friending me.

Thank you for the heads up re my fuller report, sorry I forgot to open it, but it is open now, hope you enjoy it if you read it.

I did have a few problems and Merlocmod helped me a couple of times, now I have more lj knowledge.

It must be a lot of fun wandering about and finally finding exactly what you were looking for. I like this one especially because this episode is one of my favourites.

Thanks for posting these.

It was great fun wandering around but I had such a strong feeling to walk up the bank, very mystical and in a way very eerie. I still can't explain what it was. Maybe the power of Arthur was still there haunting the place pulling me up (what a lovely idea.)

Mr P has a lot of fun trying to work out where the spots are that they filmed from, glad he comes as well.

I really like this episode as well - didn't they put poor Arthur through a lot. I'm really going to enjoy S4.

Hon! This is all so wonderful. Thank you for all your great detective work. I did go there once, late in the day, and the barrier put me off - which is probably just as well, as I suspect I would have been caught out! But now I know more, I'll be able to visit properly. Thank you so much for that!

I really enjoyed reading about your adventures. How wonderful of Mr P to spot that they'd flipped the shots around! Gosh, they just don't want to make it easy for us, do they...? :-D

Thank you again. You are a Locations Detective extraordinaire.
