A Moment in Time
Silence. It felt almost as if the world had stopped, just for a moment, and he didn’t want it to end. Merlin had been dreaming of this day for longer than he’d care to admit, wishing for it, longing for it, and finally it had come. Finally, he had found the courage to walk up to Arthur and kiss him. The simple act he had been so afraid of, was reciprocated completely. The fear felt silly now, as Arthur’s hands wove into his hair and Merlin held his throat. It felt perfect too. He never wanted this moment to end.
