Shutting down

I'm leaving livejournal as I don't really use it anymore and when I do it becomes a source of contention.  Nobody looks at the g-d damned bloody fuckin' thing, anyway, so why should I keep it up?  And the main reason I would come back to lj--i.e. a beautifully fantastic story by another user--has, I'm convinced, fallen completely by the wayside.  So there's no point anymore.
