After witnessing the vision, they are both stunned and horrified, and don't know how to react to each other. All their following interactions at places of mutual friends are awkward and stilted, but they start discreetly watching each other and noticing each other's attractive qualities. ~1646 words

There was Dumbo, and Eeyore, and Tigger, and Tom & Jerry, and Pinky & The Brain, and Mickey Mouse, and Nigel Thornberry, and Simba, and Detective Conan, and most importantly, Dopey Dwarf. It was to be expected then that he developed a bit of a thing for Gwen's and Morgana's friend, Merlin Emrys, who had the largest pair of ears Arthur had ever seen. Really, it was a bit of love at first sight. Arthur only wished that the man himself were as utterly endearing as his ears were. Things would have gone so much more smoothly then. Arthur/Merlin - modern werewolf AU Arthur is alpha of his pack and they're all waiting for him to find his true mate, settle down, have kids, etc. Then Merlin (who is not a werewolf) comes to town for whatever reason and Arthur knows that he's finally found his true mate. Except Arthur has never been attracted to a guy before. And Merlin is mostly confused with what's going on. Why is he feeling an instant connection to a man he just met? Hijinks ensue. Would love for Arthur to be a cop or firefighter or anything connected to law enforcement. Bonus points for the knights as Arthur's pack brothers and the Great Dragon as a pack elder who's been casting spells for his alpha to find his true mate already. No bestiality pls! ~841 words

Arthur/Merlin (not established). Arthur helps Merlin with tie in one of his most important day in his life. Merlin can't deal with all the pressure and kisses him square on the lips to seek reassurance, as a friendly gesture. Arthur doesn't see it that way and believes that Merlin has finally decided that after that day he'll hint to move on with their relationship... but apparently Merlin won't even remember about it later that evening. ~1125 words

Arthur/Merlin. They're friends, not best friends, but friends in the same social circle, unsure how to approach each other or if the other even likes them. And so one night when Merlin comes home after a long day, he arrives to an abnormal amount of messages on his home phone answering machine. But all those messages are the increasingly drunken messages of Arthur professing his undying love for Merlin. (basically, same as above only it is Arthur drunkenly confessing. I just had a vivid picture of Arthur, who is terrible at talking about feelings, trying to work up the courage/confidence to actually tell Merlin but getting a bit plastered and doing it on the phone.) ~1214 words

A misguided Arthur is told (by a rival warlock?) he must humiliate Merlin to rid of the enchantment, but he falls further into his delusional idea of his 'love' for Merlin. ~661 words
