Merlin was nominated in the category of 'Best Drama Series' at the 2013 National Television Awards, however, the award went to Downton Abbey. The other nominees in the category were Dr Who and Sherlock. Alex, Bradley, Eoin and Rupert were in attendance for the Awards at the O2 Arena in London on 23 January. Tom was unable to attend as he is currently filming in South Africa, but it's not known why Adetomiwa, Angel and Katie were absent. Rupert was the last to arrive and so there aren't many photos of him prior to entering the Arena.
