Colin wins 'Drama Performance: Male' award at National Television Awards

Colin won the award for Drama Performance: Male at the National Television Awards (NTAs) on Wednesday 23 January 2013. Other nominees were Benedict Cumberbatch for Sherlock, Daniel Mays for Mrs Biggs, and Matt Smith for Doctor Who. Heat has a complete list of all nominees and winners here.
Colin didn't arrive until part way through the ceremony, thus missing the red carpet arrivals photos, and it seems his attendance was possibly in doubt at all if this tweet by Alexander Vlahos is any indication. According to Colin in his recent interview on BBC Radio Ulster, he had to depart soon after accepting his award in order to return to Dublin to continue filming on Quirke.

■@NataLeFayStew I saw him arriving late and he had to share Bradley seat as there wasnt one for him!! They had to re shuffle the row of celeb
■@NataLeFayStew he arrived as they were doing the award b4 his - I can’t remember that award as too busy looking at Alex in my binoculars ;)
■@NataLeFayStew then I saw a woman leading this guy in & I thought - that looks like him, but hair so different!
■@NataLeFayStew it was film crew woman who showed him to the chair. He sat down and all 4 guys were shaking hands, laughing etc with him :))
