Personally I do think that the show does focus on Merlin quite a lot. I mean has there ever been an episode that Merlin wasn't in. Yet the girls have not appeared in few episodes each series. So really I think that there is nothing wrong with there being some focus on the other characters because I love them all so much. If there was anymore focus on Merlin it would lose the heart and soul that the other characters bring to the table.

For me, the show being called "Merlin" means that it will be about Merlin and the events, people that surround him. Because really if every single thing or story line was about him and all the scenes about him, that would become boring and I would lose interest if the show was all about Merlin. So really I think that people need to remember that while the show is called "Merlin" and he will have important story lines, that there are also other important people that have focus too because they also play important roles in the legends. So to not have them in it with their own story lines would be doing their characters a disservice.
