Colin will be taking part in a special programme to mark the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. There's no word yet on what his exact involvement will be. Full details
here.Titanic: A Commemoration in Music and Film will be broadcast live on BBC Two on 14 April, 100 years after the ill-fated liner hit an iceberg. The 90-minute event is being stage at Belfast's Waterfront Hall, just across the river from the Harland & Wolff ship yard, where the liner was built. Armagh-born actor Colin Morgan, who stars in the BBC One series, Merlin, and Belfast actor Ian McElhinney will also take part.
fyeahcolinmorgan on tumblr has shared a video of Colin performing a monolgue from 'Nothing to Confess' by Iain Heggie. The video was recorded in 2005 when Colin was a 19 year old drama student at RSAMD, Glasgow. Warning: This video has some violent themes. Watch at your own discretion.
Further context for the entire series of plays can be read
here (no mention of Colin).
Colin, however, was mentioned in
this review of the plays. In Iain Heggie's Nothing to Confess, a bitter piece about violence and denial, you are the priest listening in horrified helplessness to actor Colin Morgan's justifications for beating up his girlfriend.
