Hugo has earned top nominations for the 17th Critics Choice Awards alongside 'The Artist' for Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, Best Costume Design, Best Visual Effects, Best Sound and Best Score. Asa Butterfield has also been nominated for best young actor in the category. The Critics’ Choice Movie Awards ceremony will take place Jan. 12 at the Hollywood Palladium. [
