"On the heels of last month’s record-breaking triumph for Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” holiday programming initiative, 4.9 million unduplicated viewers tuned in for the original movie premiere of “A Princess for Christmas” on Saturday, December 3rd. The film delivered a 3.2 HH [Households] rating and ranked as the #1 program of the day on ad-supported cable, reinforcing the strength of Hallmark Channel’s most sought out programming during the holiday season. In addition, “A Princess for Christmas” was the #1 rated ad-supported cable movie of the week.
A Princess for Christmas placed among the Top 5 in key demo ratings for the time period (8-10pm), which includes #1 in HH (3.2 rtg) and #1 in P2+ [age 2+] (1.6 rtg). Among W25-54 rtg [Women 25-54], the film was the 2nd highest cable program of the day as well as the #2 movie of the week. Placing in the Top 10 for the time period in key demo delivery, “A Princess for Christmas” was also #1 in HH (2,740,000) and #1 in P2+ (3,547,000), boosting Hallmark Channel to be the highest-rated cable network in Prime Time for the day among HH (2.7 HH rtg)."
