Richard Wilson
Snippet about Richard from the
Sheffield Telegraph about Crucible Theatre from the 80's to the noughties: "Evans recruited popular actor Richard Wilson as one of three associate directors and the man best known for TV’s One Foot in the Grave and Merlin showed a different side with the first of three hard-edged contemporary dramas he has so far directed in the Studio, Polly Stenham’s That Face starring Frances Barber."
Santiago Cabrera
Matias Bize, the director of La Vida de los Peces, mentioned Santiago in an interview
here at Mar del Plata Film Fest (translated with a number of different sites so this could be wrong):
-"How was the construction of the character with Santiago Cabrera?
-Terrific. Because Santiago is a tremendous actor. It was a pleasure to work with him. He's very talented, very dedicated. He confided a lot in my work and that left me very calm because coming from an actor, who has a brilliant career, to have this disposition to surrender to me as a director. We did work a terrific team, a long study, much detail, and the truth was very difficult because the character of Santiago really put the film on his shoulder, and with all the details needed to build a subtlety that wasn't easy, and Santiago did very well."
