Eoin Macken's 2009 short film 'Mekali'
Eoin directed and wrote this recently uploaded 2009 short film about "two young city girls" and a "simple anecdote about friendship." The cinematography is by fashion photographer Gerry Balfe Smyth and stars Niamh Macken and Amber Jean Rowan, with Carl Shaaban as assistant director. Mekali was part of the official selections for the Cork and Galway Film Festivals in 2009.
