♦ Merlin will be one of the programmes available to view on the new
McDonald's Channel that will be coming to the fast food chain soon for US diners. The channel aims to provide a family-friendly atmosphere when dining-in.
♦ Creator of new Cbeebies programme Mike The Knight (set to air later this month) says that Merlin was his inspiration for the programme. He said: “There wasn’t a show that catered for pre-schoolers’ fascination with all things castles, dragons, magic and adventure.” [

Charlie Casanova
♦ Charlie Casanova has been nominated for Best Feature Film at Orlando Film Festival. It is expected to screen at the Plaza Theatre on October 21st at 7pm and Oct 23rd at 6:15pm. Tickets can be booked via the festival site
