♦ Merlin will be one of the programmes available to view on the new McDonald's Channel that will be coming to the fast food chain soon for US diners. The channel aims to provide a family-friendly atmosphere when dining-in.
♦ Creator of new Cbeebies programme Mike The Knight (set to air later this month) says that Merlin was his inspiration for the programme. He said: “There wasn’t a show that catered for pre-schoolers’ fascination with all things castles, dragons, magic and adventure.” [Source]

Unfortunately Angel didn't win the award for Female Performance in TV at the Screen Nation Awards last night but congratulations to winner Wunmi Mosaku who can be seen here with her award.
Charlie Casanova
♦ Charlie Casanova has been nominated for Best Feature Film at Orlando Film Festival. It is expected to screen at the Plaza Theatre on October 21st at 7pm and Oct 23rd at 6:15pm. Tickets can be booked via the festival site here.
♦ CHARLIECASANOVA Regretfully we've had to hold off on the London CHARLIE CASANOVA screening but, trust us, it's for a damn good to-be-announced-later reason.

alicetroughton @EmrysDragonlord me and Dale's idea. I was very into concept of Arthur as Apollo / Sun God (root of the myth) (In response to: @alicetroughton Q: was it U,script or Colin that decided he'd have eyes open,watch Arthur's shadow form & not move till Arthur says #Merlin?)
alicetroughton @EmrysDragonlord also important that "it's a new day". Colin was the one who pointed out the shadow when we first blocked it. (In response to the same question above)
