Free Agents in danger of being cancelled

Oct 05, 2011 22:22

Anthony Head's website has put up a special notice to help save Free Agents from being cut by NBC:

"*** HELP KEEP 'FREE AGENTS' USA ON THE AIR! ***

Do you want to keep 'Free Agents' on the air? Here's your chance to let NBC know! Due to falling ratings 'Free Agents' may be cancelled - please help stop that happening by tweeting about 'Free Agents' at #freeagents making your views known! Make a noise TODAY (Wednesday October 5th) - save the show TODAY!

Please Tweet even if you're not in North America!

Thanks!"

Anthony's Twitter, which has been inactive since July, is now retweeting messages asking people to watch the show, including those from co-stars Hank Azaria and Natasha Leggero.

Five days ago, NBC announced that it was not going to cancel Free Agents or The Playboy Club yet, even as both shows had been getting low ratings, but yesterday the network announced that The Playboy Club has been cancelled. Another ominous sign is that NBC has ordered full seasons for two of its other new comedies, including Up All Night which precedes Free Agents on Wednesday nights, but not for Free Agents.

Free Agents will be on tonight, Wednesday, 8:30/7:30c.
