First episode still from 3x05:
Merlin's Keep has posted the first episode still from the fifth episode of season three.
Okay, the episode synopsis says that Merlin sees Morgana killing Uther - by way of the future!visions of the crystal caves - so decides to stop her. The heavy implication is that SOMEONE dies because of his actions (Camelot is apparently in mourning) and Merlin, realising he's made a mistake, must bring the person back.
Speculation over at onceandfutures had most of us reckoning it would be Uther - possibly Arthur - a few people kinda WANTED it to be Morgana because it would give the show a chance to really explore Merlin's feelings of guilt/responsibility when it comes to her, but didn't think the show would go there since so far it's seemed determined to white wash Merlin's involvement in Morgana's current state of darkside-ness.
BUT.
Is it just me or does the promo pic suggest that Morgana's the one who's going down?
She certainly doesn't look well.
This will be the ONLY time I say this, but I would LOVE to see Morgana die in this ep (only cause we know Merlin's bringing her back). I would LOVE an episode that shows Merlin having to save Morgana and which looks in a more complex way at his responsibility for her.
