I've only seen five eps so far, but in nearly every scene between Uther and Arthur, I keep holding my breath waiting for the moment when they say or do something that completely shatters their relationship?

I can't help wondering if the tension between the two men is something brought about by Merlin's arrival to Camelot or if this is something that was always there. Does anyone else have this reaction when they watch the show.
